The Quality Engineer is responsible for analysis of problems, surveillance, new process development (Procedures, PCP, Test Results and new training requirements), internal and external audits of the Quality Management System.
Develop Process Control Procedures or other required processes to meet contract or customer requirements.
Develop Test and Inspection Plans and Required Report List to meet contract requirements.
Develop Quality Plans when required.
Answers and investigates customer complaints / discrepancies.
Create Quality Engineering Reports.
Suggests and debates alternative methods and procedures in solving problems.
Liaison with customer for quality issues.
Conduct and document inspections as required.
Perform audits as required.
Reviews status of CARs, OFI’s, and other quality issues and provide Statistical Data to meet ISO 9001 and other contract requirements.
Provides other quality services as requested by Director of Quality Systems.
