    Colonna's Shipyard is looking to obtain experienced candidates within our Paint Department.


    We are pleased to accept resumes for 2nd Class Painters - 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm)


    This is a full-time position with competitive pay, based on experience, and immediate work within our headquarters in Norfolk, VA.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience of marine painting and blasting, basic ship knowledge, brush and roll painting, proper mixing of coatings
    • Knowledge of spray painting, surface prep, 5K washing, proper mixing and application of multi-component coatings and operating spray pumps
    • At least one of the following certifications: C12, C14, or C13
    • Experienced with power tooling 
    • Must have scraper inspection mirror, flash lights, scrapper, adjustable wrenches, channel locks, flathead screwdriver, wire cutters, and tool bag
