    Colonna's Shipyard is looking to obtain experienced candidates within our Quality Assurance Department.


    We are pleased to accept resumes for QA- Paint-NDT Inspector.


    This is a full-time position with competitive pay, based on experience, and immediate work within our headquarters in Norfolk, VA.

    Responsibilities

    • Individual will perform and report findings for inspections.
    • Experience in writing Test an Inspection Plans (T&I) Process Control Procedures (PCP) and Condition Found/Required Reports are a bonus.
    • Will be responsible for completing necessary documentation and forms in accordance with work instructions and procedures.
    • Will need to be able to work independently, travel and abide by all safety and environmental requirements.
    • Applicant must have a strong understanding of Government Specifications and NAVSEA Standard Items.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 Years Quality Control / Assurance experience.
    • Good reading, writing and computer skills. 
    • Knowledgeable on QP1 and NAVSEA Standard Item requirments. 
    • Requires an NBPI or NACE Certification. 
    • Any NDT Certifications a plus (VT, MT, PT, UTT). 
    • Must be able to get access to Government Facilities. 
    • Must be willing to travel CONUS/OCONUS.
