Internship (Summer 2023)

Colonna's Shipyard is currently hiring for our Summer 2023 Internship Program.

The objective of the Internship program is to introduce students to a broad understanding of Colonna’s Shipyard and its primary business of ship repair and Steel America’s heavy industrial fabrication. In order to accomplish this, each selected trainee will get the opportunity to spend time with the various divisions, departments and shops working on actual projects to gain an understanding of how our company operates. 

• 18 years of age or older
• At least a Junior or third year standing student pursuing a degree in all areas related to Business, Maritime, Operations, or Engineering
• Pass a company provided physical examination
• Physically able to perform the essential duties of the assignments

Position compensation is based on experience.
